Should you store your vehicle in your garage?

If you are lucky enough to have a garage at your home then you need to think carefully about what you are going to use it for. Often garages become extra storage space or even a bit of a dumping ground for items you are not sure what to do with any more. You can easily accumulate a lot of stuff over the course of a few years and it can then become a big task trying to sort it all out. Try and keep on top of the items in your garage so if you decide at some point you want to use it as a place to park your car, you have the option to do so. You first need to check that your car will fit easily in to your garage. You need to be able to open the doors when it is parked and ensure that the garage door shuts. If it fits but the garage door won’t shut then you may need to change the type of garage door you have. Roller garage doors take up less room than up and over. You may decide to have an electric garage door so that you can open and close the door without having to get out of your vehicle.
